This section applies when barbers connect Google to sync their Knipklok calendar with Google Calendar.

5.1 Scopes we request and why (Data Access Disclosure)

When you choose to connect your Google account, we request the following OAuth scopes:

- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events — To create, update, and delete events so Knipklok appointments stay synced with your Google Calendar.

- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendarlist.readonly — To display the list of calendars you can connect and let you choose where to sync appointments.

- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.settings.readonly — To respect your calendar’s timezone, default reminders, and other settings for accurate appointment scheduling.

- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.freebusy — To check your availability across calendars and prevent double-bookings.

- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email — To read your Google account email address, so we can identify the connected account and show it in your settings.

5.2 What Google data we access

- Your Google email address.

- Calendar data necessary to: (a) create Knipklok appointment events in your chosen Google Calendar, (b) check for conflicts/availability, and (c) keep events in sync (read event metadata such as event IDs, start/end times, titles/notes we generate). We do not use your Gmail or other Google products.
